SeaSide's ambiance is undeniable. It's one of the best La Paz bars in terms of view and sunshine. They have a good wine list and their coctails are decent. Service is normally superb, though I have experienced inconsistency. The real weakness is the food. The chef consistently over-salts every dish. The guacamole was served on--believe it or not--a bed of salt. When we got to the bottom of the bowl, my guests and I got sick from the unexpected mouthful of salt. The lamb is over-salted. I couldn't eat the mushroom medley served with the lamb because of too much salt. The grilled vegetables are over-salted. The fish is over-salted. I've never encountered this at another restaurant. My advice is to visit SeaSide at sunset on Thursday/Friday when they have live music, but make dinner reserrvations at Sortis or Oliva al Mare. One exception is the pizza. Read moreThis simply is the best restaurant in La Paz! From the reservation staff, who quickly switched to English when they noticed our Spanish left a lot to be desired lol, to the breathtaking sunset views of La Paz Bay, we wish we can give this restaurant 10 stars!
They made the whole experience special ! We have been to many restaurants in La Paz and well many have decent food. This place is amazing! We were greeted with a friendly valet to park our car, to a smiling and accommodating Hostess who did backflips to give us the best view And the amazing chef that will rival any high-end New York restaurant!
For any visitors to La Paz, this certainly would be a highlight of the whole Baja experience .
Thank you to all...

It was one of the WORST pieces of meat he had ever been served and the lobster tail was tuff and chewy. I told my husband to send it back but he doesn't like to do that. We told our waiter and he apologized and asked the head waiter to come talk to us. He offered us a drink from the bar. We declined. The atmosphere was very nice and our waiter was attentive. Too bad the steak ruined...
