SushitoLaPaz — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

My traveling group and I were craving sushi during our short stay in La Paz (9/18/24). SUSHITO restaurant, on the malecon, was highly recommended by the locals. After seeing how packed it was during our drive-by through the malecon, it was definitely a must-try on our last day, before returning to the airport.

We were greeted immediately and seated on the patio deck area, our choice. We were one of the first three tables being waited on by our server Francisco. He was actually the only server at the time. The ocean view, palm trees, calm streets, cool breeze, restaurant ambiance, and mojito drinks helped start our first dine-in experience on a positive start.

Our order took a long while, perhaps 30-40 minutes but then we looked around, the place started to accumulate customers. Long wait time seems to be the restaurant’s downfall (1 chef, 1 server will not work during peak hours). Nonetheless, our food, over all, was on point. No complaints. From taste, temperature, presentation and portioning. Thank you, chef!

Food prices were surprisingly non-gouging like most touristy-like restaurants on the main strip.

We will definitely come back to Sushito 👍🏼

Place is ran mostly by careless teenagers. Food took so long it made me literally angry and when I stood up to ask where our order was, only answer I got was ramen takes a while to be made, and we have other orders, while the restaurant was clearly almost empty. No one apologized, no courtesies. To add insult to injury, the ramen broth was bland and the pork inedible. Only two stars are for the young lady that first came to take our orders, she was nice and attentive. But that was our first and last time...

Me da coraje esa es la palabra que aparte de su pésimo servicio tengamos que liderar con un robo por que no hay otra forma de llamarlo, el día de hoy domingo 17 de julio del 2022 levantamos un pedido por teléfono el cual pedimos el menú y nos respondieron véalo en el Internet lo cual hasta ahí no se me hizo mal, colgué cheque en Internet su menú y volví a marcar para levantar el pedido que era para recoger, al ir por el me dice la sra son 490 pesos, yo le conteste no es 450 y ella con una singular desfachatez me dice no esos no son los precios, oye le conteste entonces por que me dijeron que lo checara en Internet deberíanemcionar que esos no son los precios, que eso era un robo y todavía se molesta en vez de pedir una disculpa y me dice pues son 490 ya le dije que están mal los precios no están actualizados, es ultima vez que voy a ese lugar ya que en otras ocasiones te tardan horas en atender, son muy groseros, y ahora con esto.... De hecho les pedí mi nota y me dieron un ticket que solo traía la suma de la cantidad que casi no se notaba y le dije este papelito es la nota ahí no dice donde compre a lo cual la persona con una burlae lo quita y con pluma pone sushito serdan y me lo regresa,..... Yo recomiendo que se fijen bien para que no les...
