ALLEA, Breakfast & Brunch — Restaurant in Baja California

If you want horrible service sub-par food and a water of your time and day make sure you go here to eat! We arrived at 11:30 am to be told we would be seated in 20 minutes and to be seated 45 minutes later to a sweat box of a place! I totally love the Valle de Guadalupe and don't expect a/c cause I'm in Baja and come here to enjoy the charm and quaintness, but this case took it to a whole different of uncomfortableness and unclenliness. The drink order was a wait, the food order was a longer wait...the food brought out over 1 hour wait to be wrong order, told what we order was now sold out! They brought out a wrong dish and I was told it was what I ordered (it was not) then he took the order back scrapped off what he could and brought it back out. Again over rated location and it was a complete waste of our 2 1/2 hours. Feel free to stop by and enjoy the sub-par food and horrible service!

There are way to many good places in the Valle de Guadalupe that have way better food and service.

Llegamos a las 11:30 am para que nos dijeran que estaríamos sentados en 20 minutos y 45 minutos más tarde en una caja de sudor de un lugar. Amo totalmente el Valle de Guadalupe y no espero aire acondicionado porque estoy en Baja y vengo aquí para disfrutar del encanto y la singularidad, pero este caso lo llevó a una situación completamente diferente de incomodidad y falta de limpieza. El pedido de bebidas fue una espera, el pedido de comida fue una espera más larga ... la comida traída más de 1 hora de espera para ser un pedido incorrecto, ¡dijeron que lo que pedimos ahora estaba agotado! Sacaron un plato equivocado y me dijeron que era lo que pedí (no lo era), luego él retiró el pedido, desguazó lo que pudo y lo volvió a sacar. Nuevamente sobre la ubicación calificada y fue una completa pérdida de nuestras 2 1/2 horas. ¡Siéntete libre de pasar y disfrutar de la comida de mala calidad y el servicio horrible! Hay muchos lugares buenos en el Valle de Guadalupe que tienen mejor...

An hour wait! But worth it! We sat waiting for breakfast and I simply went for a cup of coffee and relaxed. We had an "OK" experience as Juevo Republic so we were hoping for a more "culture" experience, and Allea's did not disappoint. It was busy, but it takes a special staff to operate a "busy" place and make you feel relaxed and at home. We did not have the house specialty and settled on Juevos Rancheros and the Allea Compo (chiliquilas and machaca). The Chiliquilas were good, but the Machaca was excellent and carried the plate. The beans tasted like my Grandma's and they have some KILLER homemade chili sauce, and yes, we bought a jar of it to bring home-it was that good. Our server was great, gave good clear information and never asked me if I wanted my check (like Juevo Republic). He kept my cup well filled with hot coffee and even though they had a ton of people waiting to get in (Valentines day) he treated us as if we were the only ones there. I know have my favorite Breakfast Spot in Valle...

Place looks nice. Servers need to be upfront with guests. Ordered the Menudo and specifically asked for the works. Hominy, para and tripe. They brought me a bowl of just tripe. When I asked why just the tripe the server answered that they ran out of the other ingredients. They should have been upfront and informed me of lack of ingredients. My wife’s cocoa was cold and too sweet. Some of the other dishes were good. I just wished they were more upfront...
