We were recommended to go to this place for breakfast and let me say that we were not disappointed! We brought our dogs and from the moment we arrived we were received with huge smiles by the whole staff, gardeners, waiters, kitchen staff, etc. Since we had our dogs with us I was expecting to be seated outside but they told us that they allow dogs inside which was a very good surprise because the place is beautiful. Out waiter, Oscar, was super friendly and helpful from beggining to end and recommended us many delicious drinks and plates which by the way were all amazing! We had ceviche, mezcal drinks (make sure to try the Jamaica mezcal, is delicious and refreshing), omelet with rib and my husband had a Marinated Rib, clams, etc. The chef, José Carlos, came to our table to make sure that were taken care of and chatted with us for a bit. He was also very kind and friendly with us and our dogs (he mentioned that he rescues dogs in his free time so bonus points for that!). He even gave us a complimentary dessert which was also delicious. Overall, my experience here was amazing, I think is the best experience in a restaurant I've ever had, not kidding. Don't hesitate to go here, you will...
Read moreOVERRATED, Im giving the place 2 stars only because drinks and MY choice of breakfast weren’t terrible, but I also tried my friend’s and NONE of them was good or really tasty. I love ordered the Chilaquiles and they were pretty good and the frutos rojos mimosas were also pretty good. The place itself IS NOT GREAT, just a pretty standard restaurant, not really a theme or nicely decorated, Prices are Not that far frOm American prices so I WAS EXPECTING more from the place; I must say that what really bothered me was the fact that you can buy mimosas for 130 pesos (WHICH IS EXPENSIVE for being Mexico) but you cannot buy the bottle of champagne, but they have the option on the menu but the way they get away with it is that they’re short in bottle quantity in the bar so they can only sell it by the glass, sounds more like “WE CAN MAKE way more money from you if you buy mimosas by the glass”, that’s what is OBVIOUSLY happening; The manager came to our table and said “ITS ONLY A PROMOTION” so its not always available lol BS. Anyway, If you want to be around basic Ensenada people thinking EXPENSIVE places makes the place a good place, then this is the place to go. I am ORIGINALLY from Ensenada but I live in LA so I know what Im talking about.
Read morea money grab, the restaurant was nice but the whole vibe was really off. i noticed right away that the tables next to us left more than half their food on their plates. they don’t even bring water to the table? the free conchas are hard and wayyy too sweet. i ordered the papas mañaneras, horrible choice. my boyfriend got enchiladas and that was a littler better. i think the breakfast menu in general is horrible. People kept staring at us from other tables, the waiters didn’t pay any attention to us and had to ask remind them for items we ordered. the place has a lot of flies and they even land in your food as your eating. mala vibras all around. we basically ran out of there as fast as we could i wish i could’ve gotten my money back. I’m sure there are better mom & pop restaurants will a better quality experience for half the price....
