The food is was okay. The prices were a bit overpriced. The waitress that helped us was amazing. Not sure if the cook was also the owner or manager . At first he was nice, but later he baca me rude. He kind of convinced us to get the sampler platter that was for 4 people, but he said he would make it for 2. I thought the price would be half, but no, it was just a few bucks cheaper. I asked for a Tecate beer and they didn’t have any, instead they offer us a Miller light, which we were okay with. Later the guy in charge ( not sure if he was the owner) came and told me that they bought Tecate just for me. I told him I was fine. I didn’t want to drink more than the beer I had already had. He the. made me feel guilty ,by saying that he had to send someone to buy the beer I had ask for. So I told him to give it to me. When it came time to pay, their Cc machine didn’t work. I barely had enough cash to pay. I told him to take off the beer I still hadn’t open , to have enough money for the tip, but he refused. So I payed the bill barely making it with coins because the Cc machine didn’t work. As I gi fished paying he then dare to asked me for a tip for the waitress. I wanted to give her a good tip, since she was very nice and helpful, but I couldn’t , cause I had used all the cash I had, not expecting their Cc not to work. So it was kind of insulting that he demanded a tip for her, knowing very well that I only had enough for the bill. Im only leaving 3 stars because the place was very cute and the...
Read moreI'm not sure where to start. Oh wow, what an experience! We walked into this Mexican restaurant, only to be greeted by music so loud I’m pretty sure my eardrums filed for divorce. Strangely enough, there were only two other couples there—probably because they had already lost their hearing and couldn't find the exit.
Then came the real surprise: the menu! Or should I say, the one item on the menu—pizza. Because nothing says authentic Mexican cuisine like…cheese and tomato sauce? The server, bless his heart, was an absolute delight. He promised us the best pizza of our lives, which we eagerly waited 45 minutes for.
When it finally arrived—drumroll, please—it wasn’t even the pizza we ordered! But at that point, we had invested so much time that we just ate whatever was put in front of us, hoping it would somehow justify the wait. Spoiler alert: it didn’t. It was fine, in the way that gas station pizza is fine at 2 AM when you have no other options.
We then left as quickly as possible, ears ringing, stomachs moderately satisfied, and our expectations forever lowered. Would I go back? Only if I suddenly develop a craving for...

We were a little wary at first because nobody else was there, but it was a great experience. The chilaquiles and mimosas were exactly what we needed. Will come...
