What can I say about this restaurant!? It's just wow. The food was phenomenal. Each dish and drink was amazing with incredible ingredients. They were so fresh. That's what you should expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. Let’s start with the tuna tartar tostada. It was a bluefin tuna with an oil blend, raw onion with ginger, jicama, Serrano chili, and ponzu sauce with cured lemon. It was so fresh and well-balanced. Next, I got the Tiradito De Jurel, which was so delicious and fresh. It is jurel fish mix of oils, chilhualcle chili paste, fried chives, fried kale, ponzu sauce with cured lemon. Next, I tried the green ceviche. It was the catch of the day, house marinade, green pasta, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and green apple. You can identify each ingredient and flavor. Next, I tried the Black Aguachile, which had shrimp black paste with chintextle, red onion, cilantro, jicama, and sliced cucumber. The black aguachile had a very smoky flavor. Something I’ve never tried before. For drinks, I had a ceniza de corazón. It had white bacanora, cucumber, extract, and chili ash syrup, and a mojito, which had rum, mint, and lemon. The service was top tier. The waiter answered all of our questions. He was excellent. I would...
Read moreOur reservation process went smoothly. They confirmed via WhatsApp and were very responsive when we made adjustments to our reservation in advance. However, the service was awful. The menu showed several wines by the glass but the server said we would have to buy the bottle and refused to sell a glass even though it was shown ON THE MENU as such. Incredibly disappointing and strange when we are literally at their vineyard. Besides that, the food was okay. The ceviche portion was huge. The orgasma de Frida was the best thing we had, so don’t skip the dessert. Our server was incredibly inattentive. We could never find him unless he was chatting it up with a coworker. We resorted to just flagging anyone down who would help us after sitting at the table for 2 hours for what was supposed to be a fairly quick lunch. Besides that, the atmosphere was lovely, a harpist came in and played for a bit. He was amazing and incredibly talented. I would say the harpist and the dessert were the highlights of our visit. Outside of the restaurant, the art...
Read moreFood is great! The only thing is that our shredded lamb plate had LOTS of bits of bones in it. We ate & just set the bones to the side & told the waiter at the end of our meal. His response was “oh ok” and walked away 😅 Octopus & mushrooms plate is outstanding! We had the mousse dessert and it was honestly not good. Overall the food is super tasty, but we wouldn’t go back because the kitchen and waiting staff are obviously not very well-trained & that impacted our experience...
