Lupitas Shrimp y Fish — Restaurant in Baja California

Fantastic street vendor off the beaten path just a smidge. They're making the tacos fresh to order and they are delicious!

I couldn't recommend the fish tacos enough. Well seasoned and cooked and delivered hot and crispy.

The fixins' bar with pico, pickled onion, shredded lettuce and a couple of nice sauces only added to the already outstanding flavor.

You can get some non alcoholic drinks as well and there is a little shaded and protected courtyard with tables and chairs.

We initially walked by it looking for "Lupitas" but later found the signs that include the name are more toward the inner seating/cashier area so we ended up backtracking to it. It's a hole in the wall: food cart with a patio seating area. Bring cash!

Chatted with some of the in line customers & watched them fry & grill some of the different tacos, quesadilla & burrito. Shrimp taco were the most highly recommended ($2 usd each) so we ordered 6 shrimp tacos for the 3 of us. They have a toppings cart for fresh cabbage, salsa etc.

Every local we asked said go to lupitas and I'm glad we listened. Best taco I've ever ate! Not just best shrimp taco but best overall taco.
