Malva — Restaurant in Baja California

This was my very first time visiting Valle de Guadalupe, and it did not disappoint. First, the view. With this place being just a few minutes from the shores of Ensenada - this location was a hidden gem. Aside from the beautiful view of los viñedos, the restaurant boasted of its own unique and contemporary elegance. The tables were situated overlooking the beautiful valle while the atmosphere felt both comfortable and elevated. Finally, the experience. Each item contained a variety of various unique flavors and a plethora of different flavors - every dish delicately selected with careful intention. A combination of humble origins and immense creativity- each dish was nothing less of a beautiful masterpiece. The experience could have not been better than the service we were given. Fer, our server, did an amazing job painting the picture of each dish in extensive detail. His ability to highlight the various areas of which each ingredient came from was the foundation of the entire experience.

In short, your trip to Ensenada and Valle de Guadalupe will not be complete without an experience like this. I am thankful for everything and everyone who showed us the elegance of Mexican...

I visited Malva around 5 years ago and revisited just las week. Let me start to say that I couldn’t imagine the evolution of his cuisine. The experience was INCREDIBLE, it’s being a while since I felt captivated by a culinary proposal and it really blew my mind. To the point that I had to take a moment with each bite to really process and understand it, because the way everything is put together makes an explosion happen for all your senses. We had nifladita de huitlacoche that was such a surprise, with a creamy sauce and pretty interesting presentation. We also had the Gyosas with colita de Rea that seemed to be a fusion with Asian, amazing flavors and the lechón which was with a crispy crust and the plátano macho cream was just perfect. Finally, for desert we had the pera tamal which truly surprise me and the apple tarts which was on point. If you visit Valle you have to visit this place is truly a hidden gem! And I been to...

if I could give this resturant more stars I would there's no ifs and no buts about this restaurant in the way that they gave my party of best service of life presentation of the food was Immaculate Taste of the food was in the God mode saying it hit me to the core of my bone. this restaurant is laid-back country home with an open American Kitchen whoever made this restaurant loves I mean loves to serve e people food I was so touched so overwhelmed buy the flavors that I consumed even from the orchid salad to duck and beef rib plates oh and the fish tar tar is de best . And our host is 100% culinary master he let us try a selection of 3 red wines and we went with 4 de julio bottle it was lets just say a juciy delight and the he explained ever dish we ordered and that was 12 courses.
