Wonderful restaurant in the middle of Baja wine country! We sat outside underneath beautiful old oak trees - very relaxing after the drive down from LA. The food was delicious (we will return tomorrow!) and the service excellent. The owner, Alfredo, was very pleasant and spent a long time talking with us at our table and gave us good local advice (great sunsets at cuatro cuatros!).

Addendum: We ended up eating here several times during our stay and each meal was wonderful! The Maitre 'd, Francisco, was attentive and helpful and Alfredo stopped by our table each time to chat. We will definitely return on our next visit!

There seems to be some confusion among reviewers about the nature of this restaurant. It is a regular sit down, order off the menu restaurant. On Saturdays and Sundays an additional area is opened up for a Mexcan buffet featuring their famous barbacoa, but the regular restaurant area...

Gorgeous serene garden like setting with pretty lilting music playing in the back round. Little private enclaves under beautiful old trees to dine in. Perfectly reserved wait staff. The food is abundant, perfectly prepared, flavorful yet simple. Our party ordered Rib Eyes and Garlic Shrimp Skewered. Delicious everything. Vegetables and baked potatoes savory. The cream of corn soup, warm bread rolls and herbed butter starters were a balanced and a tasty beginning. The pricing is spot on, much less than U.S. fine dining restaurants with all of the things that one looks for in fine dining establishment yet with a very relaxed...

I’ve been here a few times. Usually pretty decent and the vibes too. Came around noon and it was pretty empty which I’m not complaining about but the food this time around was bland or you could tell it had been sitting there for a while. We did feel rushed by staff. At some point they started picking up all the food and the. Decided to come ask us if we were done… after they were half way done. At that point we were over it so just left. Usually good service but this time it was very disappointing. The picture below is all the staff picking up. I recommend if you really want to try this place go before 11 bc by noon...

Delicious buffet!! Handmade tortillas, Handmade quesadillas with spinach, mushrooms, potatoes, chorizo, barbacoa, omelets, all types of salads, meats, traditional Mexican dishes, deserts, fresh cold pressed juices and Aguas frescas, great customer service, they make you feel so welcome, almost like Royalty, really pleasant surprise:)

We loved the vibes, the friendly service, and the tasty food. The margaritas were excellent. You wouldn’t know how cute it is by the street outside but once you enter it’s an oasis with hundreds of years old trees and lush plants that keep it cool. They also had an artesanías shop. It’s a worthwhile a short ways off the main road.
