A hidden gem in South Rosarito area!! Really fresh seafood all the time! The salmon plate is delicious, and so is the Poke tuna bowl. If you get the (really great) fish sandwich, ask for it 'blackened' which will add more flavor and a little 'spicyness' to it. Always ask for the fresh catches since they bring in fresh fish all the time. Wine and beer is served in the inside/outside seating. Great service all the time! It's a modern-contemporary-casual establishment. Worth the drive from Centro Rosarito, about 12 miles South from there. To get there from the cuota (paid hwy), drive about 12 miles until you get to the first Puerto Nuevo exit. After you exit, go right on the Libre (free road) for about a mile. It will be on the left (ocean) side. You will have to make a U-Turn up a little further, then go back. Careful where you choose to make the U-turn! Enjoy!...

This place is great for a fine dining experience. The menu is very but I went for a good old fashioned hamburger which is great in that place, the chips were well fried. The parking space is all right and it's right beside the main road on your way to Puerto Nuevo. The entire place was very clean including the restrooms and the service by the people that served our table was perfect. I noticed a lot of locals who spoke English go here so you're good to go if you want to get served in English. I had a very delicious appetizer of a fresh fish that was marinated in some sweet and soury green sauce, and friend of mine had the salmon with vegetables on the side that also includes rice but she decided not to have the rice. Gustavo was great!!! We had planned to take out Ollie’s, but it was closed so we were racing the clock to find a dinner spot. We didn’t want to drive in the dark and we’re super tired since we had arrived early that day. We gave Marea a try and had an amazing meal. They close at 8pm and we arrived at 7:30ish with a toddler in tow. Gus and the staff didn’t rush us and made us feel at home. Cocktails were great! We split a burger and shrimp pad Thai. The burger and fries were amazing, I’d probably order that for myself next time lol. Pad Thai was nice, we really liked the celery in it.
