Restaurante Rosita — Restaurant in Baja California

Nice, friendly staff and a nice location, in the morning before the tourist crowds. I'm giving it 2 stars for that reason. My wife and I ordered huevos rancheros. They were not bad, but they were not very good. The sauce came from a can, no rice on the plate, no sour cream or quacamole/avocado. The tortillas were soft on the bottom of some okay eggs. I had huevos rancheros in a little town on the coast that blew my mind, so my expectations were a little high I guess. But I would not serve these at home and I wouldn't make them for myself unless I had nothing else to eat. When I do make them at home, I use real, homemade sauce. Come on! I get better Mexican food in California. ...

Amazing food and great service. The tortillas here are so good. I had the garlic grilled fish, so flavorful. Ate everything on my plate. My bf had fried fish (not pictured) and he said it was incredible. The only thing we didn’t care for was the baked potato. Later on in the day we went back for dinner and there was a family who had just finished their meal. The dad was telling us how the food there is so good little did he know we were there for a second time on the same day lol I had the shrimp cocktail the second round and it exceeded all my expectations. Run, don’t walk to Rosita....

My partner and I ordered food here a few times, and it was wonderful each time! We started out with the steamed clams. They must have been the best I've ever had! I come from an island and clam for a hobby, but these were just out of this world. I ordered the fish tacos (breaded) and my partner had Pescado Entero(whole fish). Both were excellent! The whole fish was extremely meaty, crispy parts, and almost no bone...tons of food. We've also had in the past the Fish soup which was also very good. Service was excellent and the plates were enormous! Definitely...
