Antojito con Amor — Restaurant in Cancún

My husband and I had a wonderful experience here! First thing I notice was how clean the place is!!! They were cleaning down each table while we were there. Even a feet wiping mat to hand washing station. Bernardo, the owner was very helpful. He explained the menu and gave recommendations. We ordered the sweetened pineapple water. It was cold but I would have preferred some ice in the beverage. It was mildly sweet, which was refreshing. We also ordered the Philly cheese steak arrachera and the BBQ lentil burger with guacamole, ham and mushrooms. The meal came with a house soup. It was a habas bean soup which was flavorful and delicious. My husband is a meat eater and he was thoroughly surprised of how delicious the philly cheese steak was. It was full of flavor. The BBQ lentil bean burger was filling, it was a decent size and I recommend ordering it with the guacamole and mushrooms as extra. All the ingredients complemented each other. I would choose the flavor of the philly cheese steak over the burger but both were very delicious. Over all, we had a very satisfied visit and would definitely come again to eat. Loveliest restaurant and best culinary experience I’ve had in Mexico (and my life?) so far. (I’ve been to ~15 countries.) Business: lovely small business, welcoming, animal-oriented, and very cute place. Simply adorable & local. People: extremely friendly, care so much about their food and their customers. Pricing: more than reasonable! We paid so much more in other restaurants for mediocre food & experience. FOOD: where do I start. Extraordinarily tasty and creatively prepared food. Delicious homemade salsas with 3 different spiciness levels. Not 1 dish wasn’t superb. Just describe what you like and the chef will help you choose. And she’s as passionate and friendly as can be. Food is made on the spot and not pre-prepared which makes it so noticeably fresh and tasty.

If you are thinking about making this trip, I guarantee you it’ll be so so worth it. Nothing I can write here is enough to give this place enough...

Cancún is not an easy place to find vegan food delivery, especially to the hotel zone, from what I gather. But Antojito Con Amor is AMAZING and saved my trip! As a vegan, I feel like I wouldn’t have had what to eat sometimes were it not for Antojito.

They have this online selection tool for ordering and it’s really easy to work with They are also very attentive on online messaging, being flexible to your needs and easy to communicate with, something that honestly I did not really get with that many other food establishments in Cancún.

The food is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. 10/10. No doubt! Can’t complain. I definitely recommend the boneless cauliflower with buffalo sauce and Philly Cheese Champiñones.

Bottom line is: you just can’t go wrong with Antojito. Great food. Great service. And especially if you’re in the hotel zone, this is definitely THE place...
