I can’t say I recommend this place. But it all depends on your expectations, specially if you’re here for a tasting menu. We are foodies and indulging on unique tasting menus are a delight for us, so we were very excited for an authentic modern Mexican experience. There were some unique dishes, loved the lobster corn equites and bone marrow dishes. Presentation was extremely nice. However, the whole experience is far from a real fine dining experience. Our meal took 4 hours!!!! Not 4 enjoyable hours, but rather incredibly long waits between dishes with minimal attention. The food was good, but most dishes were average rather than special. One of the parts that deterred me the most was the wine pairing. We opted out after seeing grocery store wine bottles are included, even off the menu they were some of the main choices and extremely overpriced. The gentleman at the reception boot at the entrance to the resort informed us that in Cancun in the evenings in restaurants there is a dress code and it is not appropriate to come in shorts and sandals...
