Walked around town before deciding to settle in for a drink and perhaps a bite to eat. Had a margarita con mezcal then ordered the doble Mexican hamburguesa, because the photo in the menu looked amazing. After using the baño I was washing my hands and the plumbing shutoff that was used as a faucet snapped off, spraying me. The construction standards in Mexico never ceases to amaze me. The burger was surprisingly good, in a salty “I’m probably going to pay for this in many other ways” kind of way. Unmotivated and unfriendly waitress. The waiter is the exact opposite and very friendly. He has to compensate for his colleague.

The waitress didn't know that mayonnaise contains egg and got annoyed when I asked for sauces without egg or milk.

The vegan taco was good (even though I wouldn't call it a taco), the vegan aguachile very bad and almost impossible to eat. It tastes like they poured a liter of lime over it. Normally I am a fast eater but this one took me ages and I couldn't eat everything because it was just not good.

At least the mojito tasted good.

Will definitely not come back and instead explore other vegan options...

Small portions, mediocre food and long waiting. Worst of all was the fact that the place was virtually empty but they managed to serve my plate long after my table partner ate all of his. 25 minutes later! The waiter served my plate and took my partner's empty plate without any excuse. That's inexcusable. Then, to top it all off, the waiter said "no" when we wanted to pay with a credit card. We insisted and all of a sudden he managed to come with a credit card machine. Really very bad service in an almost empty place. Bad chef, bad waiter can only mean bad management. BTW I have had a...
