Restaurante La Reina Roja — Restaurant in Chiapas

I was very positiviley surprised by this restaurant! On the first night of our stay we went to the restaurant across the road because it had better ratings, and it was honestly very very bad. So this night we were like whatever let’s just eat here at the hostel and it was so much better than we thought it was gonna be. I had the pasta with tomato, spinach and chicken and it was a really delicious sauce! The burger my girlfriend had was alright, but a lot better (and cheaper) than the other night across the road. The staff is also a lot nicer here. If you stay at this hostel I would recommend eating here, cooking in the communal kitchen or just going...

We avoided the restaurant at first, due to other reviews but ended up here after being disappointed by the one on the opposite side of the road.

We found the breakfast here very nice (Chilaquiles were great) and good value. For dinner, we had the burgers, which were missing sauce but otherwise very tasty! Drinks are tasty and huge. Really did not find it expensive here.

Setting is beautiful. Staff very nice.

I guess the taste may depends on what you order but I’d advise against categorically...

Don't go here. Fries tasted like old oil, burgers come without saus and barely anything else than meat, prices of the drinks are a complete rip off. The service is the worst we have had so far (even though there were more waiters than people eating in the restaurant), and they still dared to put a 10% tip on the bill.
