New Sheridan Bar — Restaurant in Chihuahua

Horrible place. When I got there it was full and so I talked to the people there and they told us to wait for a table to free up and that there was no waiting list. After 1 hour of waiting more people showed up and I felt lucky that I got there before other people as I would be the first one to be seated. Multiple times I checked with the waiters to see if a table had opened and they told me no. After one hour, like I said earlier, there was more people waiting and once a table freed up, other people started asking the waiter if they could be seated. I then mentioned to the waiter how I had been waiting for an hour and was there first. He then said he had to check the waiting list (which he had never mentioned during all the times I asked him about a table being free for the taking). He called the manager and the manager was rude and very non-understanding about the situation. He came with a list where there was a bunch of other names written down. I am very upset as I would've written my name on the waiting list and happily waited for my number to be called. It was a very unprofessional and disrespectful service. D1 has a lot of nice places to chose from. Most are great to go out for a dinner or a date. New Sheridan is different and has a typical bar atmosphere like no other place in D1. Reminds me old North East or British / Irish pubs. Great music choices that often include classic rock, and good sport options via Sky satellite. No matter if you are local or just visiting Chihuahua, if you want a different option to dinner, this is the place. The moment you go in, you can feel that British pub appearance, the leather in the tables, the enormous wood tavern very exotic. The prices are just fine, not so cheap, but not so expensive.. great place to be with friends...
