Chéjere — Restaurant in Coatepec

We were recommended this place and to be honest it really let us down. Upon arrival we waited for ages for someone to sit us down, even though there were free tables and waiters just chatting away while looking over at us, until someone finally came over to ask if we’ve been helped yet. From observing the service there is one waiter that works and is proactive. He was doing all the work which was so heartbreaking to see. The Caesar salad was absolutely dissapointing. it's still very good, but not as good as it used to be. Parts of your meal are often not heated enough or just plain cold. Service was friendlier and more efficient before. I am very happy they appear to have ditched the live music. My waiter and I couldn't hear each other. Was pointed towards Chéjere by my hotel as one of the best restaurants in Coatepec and it lived up to the billing.
