M cafe, In Coatepec is a real treat, in the heart of this small coffee culture town. The first thing you will notice is architecture and design next the high level of service, my waitress (Carla) spoke excellent English, was super attentive and welcoming. M cafe also has a store where you can buy various merchandise next to the store a Barista can explain the whole roasting, blending and Brewing process, and you may try different blends. Very interesting demonstration. Unfortunately the top room which is the beginning of the tour starts was closed and apparently a member of staff locked it the day before and didn't return the key. I learnt about the different processes, the growth, the different flavours and methods of brewing. Was able to choose 1 method to try 1 cup of coffee. At one point, felt like they were trying to sell me things to make coffee. The tour for me on my own was 1 hour and 10 minutes for 75 pesos. Concurrida cafetería con servicio de mesa, ofrece una amplia carta de café en distintos tamaños y presentaciones, existe una variedad de opciones, cada una con características distintas entre sí. También hay tisanas, infusiones, chocolate y sodas italianas.

En el menú hay un apartado sencillo de comida que incluye: emparedados, ensaladas, postres y algunas piezas de repostería, todo se percibe fresco y con ingredientes de calidad.

La decoración del lugar es discreta pero cálida, el sitio siempre se encuentra limpio y ordenado. Hay diferentes estancias que se ajustan a las necesidades de tu visita; posee salones con atmósfera íntima y una terraza al aire libre que integra elementos vegetales.

El mobiliario es cómodo y luce en buen estado, se encuentra bien distribuido entre los distintos espacios, la distancia entre comensales es adecuada. El servicio es generalmente bueno, el personal es atento y tiene buen conocimiento de la carta y te pueden hacer recomendaciones si lo solicitas, la persona que presta servicio en la tienda contrasta con la buena actitud del resto del personal.

El sitio ofrece recorridos guiados dentro de sus instalaciones, dicho servicio funciona como instrumento de promoción y divulgación sobre la importancia socioeconómica, histórica y cultural de la producción y consumo del café en la región. Se exhiben objetos y fotografías que narran la historia y los procesos de producción del café, desde la siembra hasta la cosecha y el tostado.

Hay una tienda donde venden una variedad de café de alta calidad, así como accesorios, artesanías y otros productos de la zona, todo enfocado en la cultura del café.
