Mexcala — Restaurant in Compostela

We just returned home from this restaurant after having dinner and a few drinks with our friends. We had a nice meal and enjoyed the entertainment, until we received our bill. I ordered a regular rum and coke from the menu for an average price. My wife just asked for a gin and tonic without being specific. We were charged 360 pesos for three gin and tonics. I thought they made a mistake, but they said that was the right price. We felt that they were being dishonest. Why did they not asked us when we ordered, which type of gin we wanted? We certainly would have picked a less expensive one, which should have been about half that price. We certainly will never return to this restaurant and will tell our friends about it. I guess they figure we're never going to be back anyway, why try to build up a trust with a potential long term relation with their customers. I do not agree with most of the positive comments about this place. It was around 9:30pm Sunday when walked into the restaurant, it was empty, only us there, a group of 10 people, after we ordered drinks, the waiter forgot one drink and took long time to comeback, food took over an hour to be served, waiter was rude when we asked about our food, the food was not at our expectation, definitely needs a lot of improvement, it is a little to pricy for the food and the service is very poor, what it really bothers me is that they include the tip in the ticket, that is totally unacceptable and it should be at the customer discretion based on the quality service. 3 of us( restaurant owners in canada and partial residents of the area) ordered New York Steak( with baked potato and veggies) we received something that didn't taste or look like new york steak.. or any sort of steak. It was a texture of a pork roast or pot roast. One order had 1 potato, another had 2 potatoes and last had 3 potatoes. When we showed concern to waiter he got Manager. Manager did not resolve anything just said they cut the meat off a big portion themselves. One of us was allergic to pork and was scared to eat the meat.
