Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos, Ramada All Inclusive Resort — Hotel in Compostela

Don't know where to start this gong show ? We booked sunning and got swoop so you know we got screwed to start with for the price that was paid insane not one of these Mexican places are worth what they want now . We paid extra so we didn't have to spend 3 hours trying to get there on the new pay road unbelievable what these clowns pay to drive you down a turkey trail to get there , Cuts hours off to think these travel companies would know that ? Now lefts start with the place 80 percent under construction they new this before people booked. Not like we haven't been there a few times . Real nicee eating in the snack bar so hot can't even breathe and the wind socks trying to hold onto you food even worse at night . Breakfast was always good the rest not sure why they think reheated MACARONI is supper come people really 2 bucks going to break this place not even that good. Then they shut are pool down for 8 days up top do you not have slow time to start this ? Then they start changing doors on the r9om down by the ocean blowing saw dust on everyone below and shut the pool down really? Smashing the walls out of the main building around the main dinning room so we can eat dust holy ? Top bar was disgusting asked if could clean the tables same crap from the night before split all over guess the bar maid was to busy on their phones all the time just handed us paper towel to clean guess she was on the holiday not the rest of us . Guess it to bad the guy that owed it before died because was a nice place at one time.. Changing for towels that are stained washed ares out guess asking to much for that to. PEOPLE SAVE YOUR MONEY ALL 3 OF THOSE PLACES ARE A JOKE THATS FROM TALKING TO EVERYONE THAT STAYED AT THEM. OVER PRICED AND PEOPLE THAT HAVE BEEN GOING FOR 16 YEARS ARE NEVER GOING BACKED ABSOLUTE RIP OFF l don't complain much think its time to avoid Mexican places for awhile way over priced for what you get now and what to base on USA money maybe time rethink that to. Well, we arrived at the Airport and finally found our ride to the Hotel. It was already 5pm range and we drove for an hour... As we were driving past all the signs for the towns we thought we were close to our stomachs were turning....

After an hours drive we arrived and were completely distraught. We thought, where the .... are we.

When we checked in we told them this is a mistake and we thought we were going to be somewhat close to Bucerias and Nuevo Puerto Vallarta. The address Nayarit, we thought we were close to the other towns even a travel agent told us we were. NO IT IS NOT... Nayarit is like British Columbia a province.

So here we are... after my sister stopped crying the night we arrived. The staff assured us we could be moved to their affiliate in Bucerias. That did not happen after checking with them every day... all we got were excuses and lip service.

I cannot give the location a rating because there is no NEGATIVE.

The front reception desk treated us like...... to bad so sad... you paid, they just gave us lip service. Very very bad customer service.

The rooms are certainly not 4.5 as indicated according to Canadian standards maybe Mexican.

The food is very good and very good variety.

The hotel staff were nice, rooms cleaned as to be expected. Even though it was not 4.5 star.

The pool hardly gets sun, maybe 2 hour of the day.

We went to Yoga, it was just the 2 of us and an instructor that new less than I did..... biking....... I would hate to be stranded on one of those bikes... not maintained. Evening entertainment.... what a joke.

The beach is FULL of local weekend visitors... LOUD Mariachi Bands playing from early afternoon till dark..... locals ordering good from the food trollies.... leaving a disgusting mess on the beach. Frigates galore!!! The Beach is a nice walk early morning.

Shopping is 2-3 miles of the same shops over and over, market once a week typical Mexican market.

A few good restaurants in the area.

If you end up here.... know that are out in the middle of nowhere and nothing to do unless you travel far out of the compound.
