This is no-frills delicious food. We stopped in here while in Ensenada on a cruise. This is away from the terminal and the rest of the cruise passengers, but it is near the shopping area for residents.
We ordered the Tatemada con Cama de Queso and Conchita Pibil. The Tatemada con Cama de Queso (we ordered beef) was slow roasted and tender, then fried on the griddle. It was crisp on the bottom and edges while staying soft and tender on the top. The whole platter was covered in melty cheese, grilled onions, and grilled chiles. This was a great dish.
The Chonchita Pibil was a large bowl of slow roasted pork that had been shredded. It came in a sauce that was sweet and full of flavor. All dishes are served with a birria consume. This is a simple flavorful soup in a cup. Several hot sauces, cabbage, onion, cilantro, lime and crushed chicharrones were severed with any dish.
We had both dishes with flour tortillas that were made fresh, coming to the table hot off the plancha. We were the only tourists in the restaurants and were treated so nicely. The four of us had plenty to eat and had a total under $30 USD with four Cokes.

Pidan un taco de cochinita, está delicioso! El café no es rico, así que mejor acompañen la comida con una soda.
La torta también está deliciosa y tienen bastantes opciones además de los tacos.
