We have been in Mexico for 3 years and wanted to go see the divers in La Quebrada. My daughter has a muscle disability and the stairs on the cliff side were a problem. We decided to try the La Perla/ Don Carlos restaurant instead. Since I speak Spanish, I called and asked about the stairs in the restaurant. The employee told me there were little stairs and that we could book a table on the first balcony. I explained my daughter was on a wheelchair and could do 4 or 5 steps max, but not more than that. He kept saying it was accessible, not too many steps. We booked the table and when we got there, we found out there were A LOT more than just 4 or 5 steps. We had driven 1 hour to get there and had my parents visiting, so we decided to stay. The restaurant employee, he seems like a manager, told us not to worry because they would have my daughter sit on the restaurant's wheelchair and employees would help us take her up to the lobby afterwards, which they kindly did. Food was tasty, service was good and the diver's show was worth it. We got to watch the 7pm and the 8pm shows. The price for food and drinks (we only had lemonades) was high for the food served, as many already wrote on their reviews. Yes, it was pricey and the food was not worth the price. You pay for the view and overall experience. There was live music (sax) and it was a nice ambiance. My mom wanted to visit this restaurant because of an Elvis movie. Elvis didn't get to film in Mexico, but the restaurant and La Quebrada were portrayed in the movie. My mom is a fan and LOVED the experience. Due to the pricey very normal food and not being wheelchair accessible, we all agreed it was a one-time type of experience for us. Overall, we enjoyed it, but one visit was enough. If it was wheelchair accessible and food was more according to the price, we would definitely bring more of our guests there. It was about $ 200 dollars...

Read moreDespite bad reviews recently, especially concerning service, my boyfriend and I decided to give the place a shot as the view they have has no competition. All of the staff was incredibly friendly and willing to go out of their way to give us a good experience. When we got there we were given the option to buy some packages from food and drinks to just drinks. We got the two drinks package and decided to order the rest off the a la carte menu. The package also included the cost of the diving show. Our service, food and view was incredible. Our server Fernanda was friendly and attentive. It is on the pricer side but is absolutely worth...
