One of our favorite spots in playa Bonfil. We were very glad to see that the restaurants is up and running after the hurricane and that it still has excellent service and delicious food. Everything we’ve ever ordered here has been very tasty and the portions are generous. We particularly like the sopes, shrimp and fish dishes and their broiled chicken. This beachfront restaurant has a very pleasant low key atmosphere very suited to dining in smaller or bigger groups. We ate here four times in varying group sizes and every time they served us timely and with delicious food. Recommendations are the huachinango a la talla (marinated red snapper grilled on charcoal) or the Camarones a la talla (similar preparation with butterflies shrimps). Nuestro destino era el campamento tortuguero , pero no habíamos desayunado por lo que llegamos a este restaurant de mariscos que está junto a nuestro destino buscando desayunos , al llegar nos recibieron muy atentos y nos informaron que si había desayunos al darnos las cartas no había en el menú estás opciones pero nos indicaron que tenían huevos y jugos de naranja, antes de pedir preguntamos el precio que era de cada orden por $80.00 pesos con guarnición de frijoles. Pedimos una orden de sopes con 4 que al recibirlos son del tamaño un poco más grandes que una moneda de $10.00 , los jugos de naranja no estaban recién hechos , la orden de huevos fueron unos con jamón , unos rancheros y para mi pequeña un solo huevo con jamón . Los platos servidos venían únicamente con los huevos y nos pusieron un tazón de frijoles que a nuestro entender era la guarnición , pero al pedir la cuenta resulta que nos cobraron extra el tazón minúsculo de frijoles en $60.00 y no quisieron omitirlo argumentando que los huevos los sirven si NINGUNA GUARNICIÓN , lo peor es que al pedir hablar con la mujer que nos atendió argumentaron que ya se había retirado y no quisieron cancelar el cobro indebido , por lo que opte en no dar propina y compartir nuestra mala experiencia en...
