It was recommended by one of the servers, and I turned it down. However, he kept raving about it, and it peaked my interest, so I decided “When in Acapulco”. Well, one of the best decisions I made, it was delicious. It sort of melted in my mouth and the taste was just phenomenal. The people that run the restaurant really know what they are talking about because they truly love that place, and now so do I. I ordered an octopus tatemado $$$ and it was great if I would have been looking for a new sandal to walk on the beach Lol. It was the closest to a dog rubber toy I’ve chewed. I ordered a Merlin tostada and it was 85% lettuce and 15% poorly cooked Merlin, not worth the price at all. The carajillo was a watery americano with probably a drop of 43 liquor. It was a bad experience overall. I’m giving them 1 star because the place was empty when my family and I showed up and the service was fast.

Fish chicharones are basically tiny fried fish fillets so nothing exciting about that for a pescatarian since I thought it would be more like its pork version (skin). Shrimp tacos were more like an egg roll that packs no punch and the ceviche was overdone with tomatoes and had very little citrus.
