I’m from California, but I’m half Mexican and spend quite a bit of time up and down the coast surfing. On this particular stretch of beach it’s very difficult to find food open to the public/non-all inclusive hotel. This place is a little gem just on the waterfront very unassuming two stories great patio on the sand as well as upper deck loads of great basics like fresh ceviche tacos, some hamburgers, french fries etc. Perfect at sunset! Ate there last night to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We asked to sit upstairs and the views and sound of the waves we're amazing and so relaxing. I got the shrimp linguine in a cream sauce and my hubby got the filet mignon. Both were delicious. We asked for the steak to be medium rare but it came well done so we told our waiter and he brought us a new steak cooked to perfection! Our group of 6 thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We were craving burgers and Tanta Vida delivered! Burgers were 'juicy' 'yummy' and 'a very good size' according to my friends.
