Not many people know of this mom and pop restaurant that is tucked away. It is one of those roads we ventured down aimlessly just because we were originally going to basto’s grill but they didn’t offer take away so we asked for a table for 2 and they said it’s a 40 min wait… welp off we go venturing! So we happen to find this kitchen run by a cute Mexican couple. They have around 8 bowls of toppings and sauces in the front table and if you were to get take out like we did then you would get to take them home with you to enjoy in the comfort of your own leisure.
We ordered roast pork and beef tacos with side of guacamole and chips. BOY Was the guac portion massive lol. They are so generous! The total came out to be 450 pesos ($22 usd). We enjoyed it very much and it was incredibly fresh and authentic. I'm glad it wasn't overly salty either. Overall experience and food were just what we were looking for. I hope this review attracts many tourists that are foodies who are looking for authentic eats with the upmost friendly hospitality from the folks that run...

It feels like you are eating in someone's kitchen...on second thought you might actually be! This was the 2nd time we have eaten here in 4 days. The photos are mole enchiladas and empenadas... best mole ever. The alambre we had on the first night was outstanding and the reason we came back for more. They have an amazing salsa bar which had everything from Pico to burn your mouth hot sauce (which was my favorite). I am a vegetarian and Deisy and Raul made everything without meat for me. The hospitality though... even though she was wearing a mask I could tell Deisy was smiling the whole time and really enjoyed making...

We have 2.5 weeks left of this trip and I already know that I will be disappointed with every meal I have from this point on. Best Mexican food I have ever eaten, and probably some of the best food I have ever eaten. When I took my first bite of lime soup and my face went blank, by boyfriend thought I didn’t like it at first, but actually my facial expression was my brain trying to catch up and comprehend the overwhelming ecstasy that my taste buds were experiencing. Buy extra and bring it home/back...
