Pizza Mike’s — Restaurant in Isla Mujeres

We are visiting the island from Texas celebrating our 11th anniversary, our first time on the island but we frequently travel in Mexico. It is a tradition of ours to explore restaurants on travel, and pizza is always on our list to try. Pizza Mikes was highly recommended on the island so we decided to give it a try. First of all the food was excellent and staff very friendly and accommodating. We misread the sign in front and after ordering our meals realized this establishment only accepted cash for dine in and takeout orders. This was close to closing time, and we had cash back at our suite but only credit cards on us at the time. The owner was very accommodating and let us enjoy our meals and just asked for us to come back the next day to pay our tab. This was great hospitality and very nice for the owner to do considering there were 50/50 odds I would return to pay for our meals the next day. Today I returned and settled our tab with a very generous tip. I highly recommend Pizza Mikes when traveling to Isla Mujeres. The food, hospitality, service and friendly staff all get 5 stars. Stopped by during our last full day on Isla when we rented a golf cart to do the whole island tour and explore thing. After a trip to The Joint and a walkabout on Punta Sur we decided to search out Pizza Mike's, which we saw advertised on our previous trip and also saw featured in a YouTube video blog. So glad we stopped. They have such a good staff, go the extra mile and very nice. You can get whatever style pizza you want, NY thin crust style (our choice), stuffed pizza, Sicilian thick crust, or Chicago style deep dish. Being Isla Mujeres we couldn't help but ordering the unique toppings of Lobster and shrimp with added bacon and it was absolutely delicious. Perfect crust for the toppings, not stingy with the seafood. Garlic knots given to us as an appetizer on the house. Mike himself stopped by to drop off supplies and checked in on us and praised his staff to the heavens. Very nice man. Met a family from London while sitting there, very nice people. Stopped over to Isla Mujeres Brewing a block away when we were done for a 6 pack and returned to gift the parents with 2 of the beers for their pizza. We will make a point of going back for more Pizza Mike's next time back on...

We recently ordered from Mike's Pizza and had it delivered. We tried the Italian sausage and pepperoni pizzas, along with a house salad. Unfortunately, they were sold out of cannolis, so we opted for two brownies instead. Based on their recommendation.

The pizzas arrived hot and within the promised time frame, and they were absolutely delicious. We all agreed that the Italian sausage pizza was the standout choice over the pepperoni. Each pizza was accompanied by four garlic knots and red pepper flakes, which added a nice touch.

The salad was fresh and enjoyable, complementing the meal well. However, we were quite disappointed with the brownies. Instead of the homemade treats we expected, we received two small, store-bought brownies that were smaller than bite-size and not worth the money or calories.
