Drinks: we ordered a pineapple and strawberry daiquiri and mojito. They were good, nothing to write home about. Not the strongest drinks on the island but well made.

Food: similar to other reviews the food was very good! It is extremely rich in my opinion and the portion sizes are fairly small so if you are very hungry I would not necessarily recommend this place. It has more of a date night/celebratory feel. I ordered the lobster ravioli. They were stuffed to the brim with lobster but were a little too peppery for my taste. As well the green herb on top somewhat overwhelmed the delicate lobster flavor. The brisket as others have said is very good and falls apart in your mouth. The shrimp pasta was also very good with a nice array of flavors. Both desserts we ordered, the lime and banana split, were excellent. I thought the mousse on the banana split was truly superb.

Service: the service was also excellent. Our waitress was very nice and spoke good English. She came around just enough to check on us and was not slow with the food or drinks. Her helper as well was very good at clearing our dishes in a timely manner.

The ambience is pretty cool with the chefs preparing food where you can watch. This place is pretty small though so not very suitable for large groups. Our party of five had to sit at a booth with a chair and we were pretty squished.

Overall, would probably not come back unless there was a special occasion, the food was just too rich...

We vacation in Isla Mujeres "a lot". Of all the great places to have dinner, this is our new favorite spot. Located mid-island, the staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive. The food is simply... perfect. I had the slow cooked brisket and let me tell you... This is the best dish I have had on the island, after 20 years of visiting here. Served with sea salted mushrooms, roasted potatoes, thin sliced fresh jalapeno and this incredible sauce made from pureed carrots and a hint of habanero. We asked for a little extra sauce and they brought us a 6 oz bowl full. We put it on everything! My wife had the lobster pasta. It was wonderful, but at twice the price of the brisket; I would have ordered two of what I had! LOL Our dinner guest had the catch of the day and this was something special... Perfectly cooked and encrusted in this fantastic olive dust that was both unique and worked beautifully with the fish. We finished it all off with a shared dessert of what they called a banana split. See the pictures for an idea of what it looks like. I am not normally a dessert guy, but daaaamn... Banana bread base that was coated in a caramelized glaze, topped with a mild coffee infused ice cream with a ring of frozen watermelon and jalapeno sorbet! Add a coke, margarita, a glass of sangria and 3 bottles of water and you are all in at $100, plus tip. Great unpolished yet charming atmosphere, this is a perfect romantic...

Will return! We came on our first night on the island, based on the reviews and had a wonderful meal! The breezy and well-tended restaurant is in the center of the south end village (note: do not use the Apple Maps location!). We thoroughly enjoyed every dish we had, from the house snack of small homemade breads and eggplant ‘pickled’ in escabeche, to the velvety gazpacho, to the peanut and chili encrusted Northern red snapper with sweet corn consomé… you guessed it: no room for dessert, so there’s another reason to return! 😉 The open air grill and BBQ oven, lovely cooks, delightful service, best mojitos we’ve ever had, and cool and varied music made this sweet restaurant a super memorable experience. We kept saying “tasty, classy” but I wouldn’t want you to think of white tablecloths! It is laid-back, breezy, and attentive, just perfect for a vacation experience! We each had an appetizer and main dish, a glass of Argentinian wine, and a mojito… we came out to $50 per person and very satisfied! (tip extra). Hard to decide if we will get fish again or one of their overnight brisket or rib specialties in the outdoor oven! Yum! Note: As of April 2023, during our visit, they are closed on Tuesdays. Call ahead… I can attest that they answer the phone promptly and are courteous...
