The staff was very nice and patient with us considering our Spanish was bad and we had some communication issues.
We went at 7pm because our tummies were still in California time and they offer a great promotion after 7pm but I wonder if that was the problem.
The salad bar looked like it had not been replenished for a while. I mean there was food it looked like it had been sitting there and did not look appetizing.
Meat was generally overcooked. The puzzling part was that servers seemed to have a really hard time slicing the meat as if the knife was really dull. It was a bit frustrating to experience that as you are holding the falling slice with tongs. And I guess for some unpopular cuts they just wanted to get rid of it or something.. I was given a very large piece of lengua. I certainly didn't want to eat that much of lengua.
The best cut was fillet but even it was so-so. Again the meat slices were generally overcooked. Maybe someone could tell me if that's a thing after 7pm since the restaurant was only 1/4 full which means low...

The meat was good but not great and I would have expected more from a South American-themed restaurant. The buffet has a great variety of dishes to choose from, most of which are delicious. I even found smoked salmon and smoked tuna in the buffet.
The dessert was disappointing. There were a lot of mixed puddings and a couple of cakes, but it lacked icecream. Something I always think would be pretty standard for a buffet.
The wine selection was good but overpriced. A bottle going for 150 in the store was priced over 500 on their menu. I guess with a buffet we could have expected the wine to be much more expensive than...

The food at Pampas was excellent. Each cut of meat was cooked to perfection, they offer a variety of flavors and tenderness. The buffet also offered a range of sides and salads that complemented the main dishes.
However, I did encounter one issue during my visit about the cleanliness of the glassware. Unfortunately, the glasses were not as clean as one would expect from such a reputable establishment.
Despite this, Pampas delivered a satisfying dining experience. With a bit more attention to detail in their tableware hygiene, I would rate it higher. I would still recommend giving it a try, especially for the quality of their meat and the...
