Google search leads me to this spot on a casual Monday late afternoon. Tried the chicken soup with vegetable (no meat), 30 pesos, and their regional tamal de acelgas estilo paulino, which covers with cheese and spicy salsa, 70 pesos. Couldn’t tell the flavor of the chards too much but it’s something different. A full belly after 100 pesos of contribution. They got nice view overlooking the plaza.

Great location, warm welcome, good food Paulinos is a tiny upstairs/balcomy restaurant overlooking Tapalpa's main plaza and boasting excellent views of the towns two churches. Service is warm, friendly, and attentive, the food is prepared and presented well above average, and prices are fair for what's on offer.

Actualización mayo 31 del 2022 6.20 PM Hoy regrese después de un año y confirmo; los precios siguen siendo muy accesibles de todos los platillos y una vista panorámica desde la terraza muy agradable sigo recomendando el lugar al 100% vengan a Tapalpa y visiten este lugar estarán muy bien atendidos y muy contentos con la cocina y con los precios. Chequen los excelentes precios en la foto adjunta.
