Piloncillo is my absolute favorite cafe in Guadalajara! It is gorgeous and the perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal or a luxurious coffee with a nice view. The staff is amazing and incredibly accommodating. The chef is a true talent! The food is always fresh and authentic. They offer yummy daily specials on top of their fixed menu so you can try a variety of dishes in one place. They also have a full-service coffee and pastry bar that cannot be beat. The service is super quick but they do not rush you to leave if you want to chat with other people in the community or read a book alone while drinking a double espresso. It is in Centro and ideally located in a lovely neighborhood near many forms of public transportation and walking paths for your convenience. What a great find!! We have ridden our bikes numerous times past "Piloncillo Cocina & Cafe" and always comment we need to "check that place out" Today we finally stopped and had a wonderful breakfast. The Enchiladas Suizas were delicious with a rich sauce accompanied by a super fresh garden salad. My husband chose the Chilaquiles Verdes with eggs which were delicious as well. The coffees were perfectly made to order and very satisfying. The service was great and the owners sitting a table away were warm, welcoming, friendly and talkative.
