This is my 2nd review. Service from José excellent as usual. Pictured is the homemade carrot cake, which I ordered to go so I could take some home to mi esposo. It was so good there was not a lot left for him because it was the best I've ever had (aside from mi mamás). Sorry Roberto.🙄 Regarding the espresso, I am a coffee snob and this shot was excellent, not the slightest hint of bitterness. 1st review: The excellent service started before we even reached the door, when our smiling waiter Jose opened it for us and led us in. Everything we ate was muy delicioso. I had a *very* fresh assortment of fruit (including passion fruit!) topped with yogurt and granola. My partner had mushroom soup topped with shredded parmesan along with sweet mollettes made of bakery-fresh bread perfectly browned and crisp around the edges.. The jugo de naranja was fresh and sweet - so good we bought an extra to go. The owner Olga was so gracious. I asked her if she could recommend a business in the village where I could have some clothes mended. She literally walked me down the street and around the corner to the place she uses. I am so glad we found this place as we prefer to support businesses owned by Mexicanos, and as residents of Rancho La Salud Village it is much less hassle to get here than to Ajijic.

It’s an ambitious name but I think they live up to it. I had an omelette but I noted that the staff had the pancake stack and it looked excellent ! I just did not feel that conmitted for my first meal of the day. The mocha coffee I had was excellent and the music they put on while I was dining was comforting piano music which suited the atmosphere. Some locals popped in and had fettuccini so there really is a wide variety of dishes available on the menu . The staff seem to take pride in providing good value fresh and tasty food and beverages and the people beside me looked as pleased as I was. Toilets were excellent ! Recommended !

Best Eggs Benedict in the area. Superb! Succulenta is a charming, low-key breakfast and lunch restaurant, set alongside San Juan's main road. The decor is rustic-elegant, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Service is friendly and prompt, and the prices are fair, given the outstanding quality of the food. Full marks. I'll be coming back here.
