Excellent.. Exelente .. Very delicious. We drove by driving into Jocotepec looking for a place to eat, couldn’t find any, drove back stopped asked what kind of foods they had, unfortunately for us it was 6:00 pm and they were close to closing, but the nice server, nicely offered what ever they had available left for us to eat, Chile Relleno & Bistec. We were served right away, with our plates. Right away our plates looked delicious and great presentation. We were served with warm fresh tortillas. For being the last they had of the day. It was good. We decided to return the next day for breakfast. The next day for breakfast we had a big selection on breakfast plates, We ordered chile rellenos with eggs on top, Chilaquiles , steak. All our plates once again were delicious. El Globo is not a fancy restaurant, it’s location is on the street side, sitting outside, With red plastic chairs, but service and food is better than a few nice fancy restaurant that we have been to, We will...

We live just down the road from the restaurant and even though I saw it was usually pretty busy, today was our first time eating there in the nearly 2 years we have lived here. Boy were we missing out!! First of all the corn tortillas made by hand, and the masa ground with a mortar, were seriously the best we have ever had! I really would probably have been happy to just eat them:) My husband had a chorizo omelet and I had the Chile Relleno and while they were both good the relleno was the best I have ever had and I thought my own were good! I also had the fresh orange juice which in my mind is one of the best things in Mexico šŸ’– We are so happy to have found this excellent eatery and I am sure we will be visiting often...

It is an area favorite. I had been there twice prior to my last visit Unfortunately for me, I drank something that didn't agree with my system and i paid the price. I believe it was the jugo de naranja. I'm the only one that drank it. Other then that, it is a pretty good place when it's not overly busy. The service drops significantly when it is. To further go down the rabbit hole, the young fellas that yells/sings in the wheelchair is not an...

We really enjoy El Globo, a family run restaurant on the carretera in San Juan Cosala. Good food and cold beer. We really like the Camarón Vallarta, shrimp stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon… yes please! Fresh tortillas. Good prices and easy parking right at the bottom entrence to the Raquet Club. Recommend.
