I cannot say enough about this restaurant. It was hands-down, the most amazing meal from appetizers to the caramelize carrots were out of this world and I’ve eat some good vegetables here in Merida and around the world, and the empanada wow. Free treat was delivered to the table it was a gravy like texture, but bone marrow with some French dipping bread and serve like a little cup like a little tiny coffee cup. My wife literally drank it. And then the filet mignon absolutely blew my mind and I am a mistake guy and this was hands-down the best steak I’ve had in the last five years hands-down the size we should’ve split it because we brought back half a filet mignon. The sweet potato, french fries dangerous. I kinda hate posting this for selfish reasons because my wife and I have found our favorite restaurant. Very affordable for what you get and it’s just a beautiful setting quiet and the little pit bull named Gandolfo was cute friendly, but didn’t beg and was just added to the experience. Chef Damian and his team congratulations if I give you seven...

I was living next door to this place when under renovation. Looked on Google to find a place to eat and it came up. I am overjoyed to have come here…..one of the best meals I have ever had in Merida. I will be returning again! BRAVO!

Update: sorry to say that I made my previous review before I should have. The night after the meal I was awoken around 2 AM and started throwing up, the next day and for the next five days I was extremely sick. I don’t believe it came from the food because both my friend and I shared the same thing and she did not experience any problems. I believe it had something to do with the margarita and possibly the dehydrated limes. I have not had a case of food poisoning like this since 2008 and went into severe dehydration, not being able to keep anything inside of me for four days. On the 5th day, I was finally able to get back on track and on the seventh day I am finally feeling like myself. I will return, but I will not be drinking anymore...

Best Uruguayan restaurant in Merida. We were welcomed like family. The owner Manny was very engaging and friendly. His wife Astrid made sure we seated inside where there’s AC! We do recommend reservations in advance if you’d like to seat inside. The establishment is beautiful and it does conserve its traditional beauty. The staff is great too! Marcelo and Chris were very accommodating and informative. The vibe is perfect for an entertaining experience. The food! OMG! Best short ribs everrr just like in Uruguay! The chinchulines were my favorite. Prepared traditionally, giving a crunchy outside with a delightful flavor. The chivito is amazing too. A hidden gem you MUST try. Thank you Many for making me feel at home again :) And all cooked in a traditional parilla. Couldn’t ask for a better experience!
