Dilan Cafetería — Restaurant in Mérida

It's a little gem in this area. They open early!!!!! at 8:00am you can have a delicious coffee here and they are open all day long. We started to visit this place in December, it's lovely sitting outside, but if you want to work here, they have a small indoor place and in December the air-conditioning is turned off and the doors are open, it's so good. We love their chilaquiles, so far it is the best we have tasted in Merida!!!! My daughter loves their coffee , I drank a very tasty cold drink. I think it's tea with bergamot and mango. I really liked it. But I already tried their avocado sandwich, too and it is delicious!!! We are so glad we found this place! Open early, clean, quiet, delicious food and drinks! They had a great variety of specialty drinks and all of the classics you’d expect at a café anywhere in Europe. Espresso is incredibly flavorful and expertly hand-pulled. Back home my go-to coffee drink of choice is Espresso & Tonic, which I was excited to see on the menu with a wide range of variations.

I was enticed by something I had never tried before, Ginger Cold Brew, and it did not disappoint. The harmony achieved between their bold, smooth, cold brew and the spicy zest of ginger ale created an incredibly refreshing unique profile. It is a discovery I will be taking home with me to try and replicate next week.

The location is so cute. Great place to read a book, sit and chat with friends or just watch the scenery. Cappuccino was Yummy and well made, and the espresso it self very tasty. Flat white was not properly executed but the coffee was tasty, just not the right flat white texture for the milk.. the pan de muerto was dry, but tasty, nothing dipping it in the coffee couldn’t fix. I’ll be back, sticking to cappuccinos, and appreciating the good service from the employee....
