Gusto Chino — Restaurant in Mérida

This is the best Chinese food I’ve had in Merida. You know you might be on your something when other Chinese folks are getting take out. We came to have Bao Buns and Chinese sandwiches, but they say they aren’t making them which is very sad as nobody has anything resembling Dim Dum here that I know of. Please bring back these dishes! Also of note, there was no ice and our soft drinks could have been colder. This was my favourite food experience in Merida! Truly authentic Chinese food run by a wonderful, sweet and kind couple from Ningxia and Hunan. The food is on point and they really care to make it good! They put a lot of love and consideration into what they do here and it totally shows. I had a great time talking with the owners and really enjoyed every minute of this meal. They even gave my baby daughter a banana to enjoy. When we asked to add celery we were told they don't do that... Even if I would pay generously for a bit if celery to be added.
