Had been there a few times and it was ok but on 18 December 2021 it was not recommendable. We asked for salbutes and the dough (masa) was as hard as a panucho. We had panuchos and the bean filled tortilla felt like a tostada (to hard texture for this type of tortillla). It appears the cooks were extra frying these items. The turkey filling was cold as if it was from earlier in the day, they should a least give it a once over in the microwave. They had some "paquetes" (combos) that were price very good but the servers had a hard time deciphering what soups were included, and was not helpful. There was a person who was suppose to provide some amenity during dinner but that never happen, maybe we were to early as we arrived at 7 pm and left 7.55 pm. One of my family's favorite restaurants in Merida! Our friends from Campeche took us there. Prices are very reasonable, all the food was delicious & unforgettable, the waiters were kind, (even when someone spilled a drink), & the man who sang to the customers was very sweet. (He goes to tables to ask if you have a song request. Even if he didn't know the Nat King Cole one, he played the song I asked from his phone.) Our family of four ordered the Nich-Pack with all fried "appetizers" (Mxn$65) and the Duo 2 package which has 2 tortas, 2 soups, my now favorite tamal, & a litro of a drink (Mxn$218). Es la primera vez que visitamos el lugar y comentaré varias cosas al respecto: El servicio es amable pero lento, el menú es amplio y variado, el lugar se ve algo sucio y deteriorado (mugre, telarañas y bichos en los rincones, y menús pegajosos, paredes sucias), el precio es accesible pero tampoco barato. En cuanto a los alimentos, recomiendo ampliamente por su delicioso sabor: La sopa de lima, las empanadas de frijol con queso, los panuchos de huevo y el flan casero. Pedimos de entrada frijoles con tostadas, terrible: El frijol estaba agrio, ya echado a perder, y los totopos estaban sats; simplemente lo devolvimos y nunca pensamos en no pagarlo, sin embargo lo devolvimos intacto y nadie nos preguntó el porqué. Pedimos también una empanada de carne molida que estaba mega grasienta, más que nada por la carne, la cual nadaba en grasa animal; de antemano uno como yucateco sabe que estos antojitos llevan grasa por la fritanga y porque se usa carne de cerdo, pero el picadillo no tiene por qué quedar tan grasoso. Por último, también pedimos salbut de pavo asado, y comentaré que es salbut no estaba inflado, cosa característica de este antojitos llevan grasa, y que parecía que se les había caído porque tenía muy mala presentación. Por último, algo que no me gustó para nada en cuanto a la higiene de este lugar, es que los alimentos que van a ser servidos los ponen en una mesita con una charola, y ahí un señor grita y hablotea ENCIMA DE LOS ALIMENTOS para que los meseros escuchen la comanda, al llegar los meseros también se ponen a hablar encima de esa charola con los alimentos, lo cual me deja ver que no tienen buenas prácticas de higiene.
