Rincón Vegano. Leña y carbón con esencia Maya. — Restaurant in Mérida

When we arrived at the entrance of this place, it took us a while to figure out exactly where it was. The entrance seemed like a normal house, but once we step a foot inside we were incredibly amazed! Such an awesome interior design... The walls were painted with beautiful art designs, another part was filled with pro-vegan pictures. There were also many woman-rights texts and photos around the place, pretty interesting to see and read. The restaurant is very small but cosy. We found out that this was more of a food pickup/take-away location than a restaurant. The prices were okay, they are not the cheapest in town but what you get is definitely worth every single peso you pay. The owner told us that many of the options on the menu weren't available that day - which was a pity - I really would've liked to try out their Vegan Hotdogs, Pasta's and Pizza's. We could only choose like 3 options in total... the reason was because they had gotten many delivery orders that day, so the ingredients were all used up. The lemonade we ordered was delicious and so was my sandwich burger with soy-meat. We brought someone who wasn't vegan to try vegan food for the first time in his life - he also took a soy-meat burger and to be quite honest - he was very skeptical, however, he fell in love with the taste and quality once he took his first bite! That says a lot about the food they serve here. They play junglist drum n bass here, and some electronic abstract music so if you like these genres of music you're at the go-place to visit. Regarding the fact they had so little options to choose from, I'm giving this place a 4 star rating out of 5. If they managed their ingredient-stock better, they would've definitely gotten a huge 5...

We had two super yummy, juicy burgers delivered to us. It was easy to communicate with the riot team per whatsapp, in the website it seems as if they were only open on Saturdays but apparently they also work during the week, at best you text them first to check. True riot style, our order got delivered about an hour late (I very much appreciated though that they texted me they were running late and they apologized!) and we got a riot burger instead of a cheeseburger but hey, it was so delicious and we were so hungry, we did not care. Vegan anarchy, got to love the spirit!

No puedo expresar con palabras el enojo que siento por tan mala atención, es que para acabarla ni siquiera me han atendido, siempre que hablo para encargar ya no hay servicio o no hay hamburguesas (en especial es lo que más me gusta), me he limitado a no pedir, pero para variar sigo teniendo el contacto y en esta última ocasión que fue la gota que derramó el vaso, me mandaron publicidad a mi WhatsApp, entre ellas de las hamburguesas, aunque es entre semana (me gusta disfrutarlas los fines de semana) decidí encargar porque sabía que lograr comer una de sus hamburguesas es como ver una estrella fugaz, entonces les encargué 2 hamburguesas, no me respondieron nada, esperé pacientemente y después de media hora de ver que no me respondían decidí escribirles nuevamente, para que para mi sorpresa me digan que ya no hay. 😡

No quise pelearme con nadie porque ya no hay nada más que hacer, solo quería desahogarme y compartir mi experiencia. Aunque son unas de las mejores hamburguesas veganas que he comido jamás, es muy frustrante el no poder comerlas nunca y cuando por fin crees que podrás resulta que siempre no.

En definitiva concluiría que es una experiencia frustrante y muy de vez en cuando logras conseguir una Hamburguesa, ojalá encontrar otro lugar para no tener que vivir con la esperanza, Ojalá que a ustedes si por lo menos les atiendan y los rechacen al momento y si no las han comido mejor no lo hagan o probablemente terminen igual que yo esperando el momento en el que puedan probar otra.

En fin intentaré olvidarme del tema y de las dichosas...
