We arrived on time but were not allowed on the elevator up because the restaurant opens at 1pm on the dot (the time of our reservation is at 1pm and we arrived 12:55pm). Once there, the hostess was not friendly and very cold/unwelcoming. She seemed annoyed that we arrived early. We still waited 10 mins to be seated but we started to get served immediately. The waiter did not know that I had paid for a golden event menu until I mentioned it which resulted in the waiters to be changed and a different kind service (more attentive). The service after that was exceptional. We did have one of our menu items missed but they brought it as soon as we mentioned it. They even gave us a wonderful surprise with our desserts. We did find it a little weird that at the end we were told what to tip and in cash. Also, the hostess was much nicer when we were leaving. We spent $2,000+ MXN for 3 people. Overall the food, the view and the service was amazing and we truly think that was the highlight to our trip.

Fantastic place due to the views and rotation, takes 1.2 hours to see the whole city I recommend going on day time. Pricing is at par with high level restaurants and the food is plentiful, service is good however there is not much i formation on how to go up, I will they had better attention as hosts. Service is coutious by the wait staff but took little to long to get our food, maybe kitchen was on the other side of rotation. Amazing atmosphere, pricing will set you back around $80 USD per person with wine and dessert with one main dish which I repeat is plentiful. Good selection of wines but short, good selection of mix drinks but on the high $ pricing. Worth the try and spectacular views. Recommended however it has seen it's better days and that is why they get 4.5 stars.

The view is great but it’s really the only good thing about this place. It’s extortionate for Mexico City, you’d find cheaper food in New York or London. Service was fairly slow, which was okay since we wanted to hang around for the restaurant to revolve all the way round. There’s a “bread service” which is charged per person. Since most high-end restaurants will give you complimentary bread I was shocked at the bread being on the bill when we didn’t ask for it in the first place. One of us was even allergic and couldn’t eat the bread anyway, and was still charged. We argued and had this charge taken off the bill, along with being wrongly charged for extra water. The waiter also tried to push their celebration menu and other expensive options into us when we were only in for a small lunch. You get the impression that if you’re not there to spend a lot of money, they’re not interested in serving you. They also don’t have a wireless card reader so if you’re paying with chip and pin you need to walk all the way around to the front desk - not really acceptable for a place like this. Definitely will not be back.

I would only recommend my most hated person to this restaurant! I do not write comments on yelp/google but today I have to share this epic experience with you guys. They even charge you 33 per person for bread (every street food restaurant provides this for free) and only provide bottle water for 40. No hot water, not ice water. If you want to drink, you pay. We arrived around 7.15pm and had our first course at 8.20 and waited another 40 mins for another course. Also, it took our waiter 30 minutes to take the bill and another 15 mins to swipe the cards. He even asked for a tip! We did not tip him and he was kind of mad, without saying thank you and goodbye, just left our table. Yeah right we did not tip him, but pls see my attached bill in this comment. We spend 3144 pesos, roughly 160 usd in Mexico City for a 3 person dinner. I live in New York City, a 160 dollar dinner is not a cheap one in Manhattan right? I mean in Mexico City, a Uber from airport to central historic zone, zocalo is only 130 pesos. This is absolutely not acceptable. This so-called five star restaurant is a joke.

Overall good dining experience for tourists. To get to the actual restaurant you have to follow signage including two different elevators without trying to get lost. A friendly welcome was provided then we were sat at our table. Service was very attentive, perhaps a little pushy from the table captain. We ordered wine (house suggested) cheese and meats, then on to our main dishes. Overall the food was “okay” nothing special to write about. The steak seemed to be a low grade choice cut. But the atmosphere including a live pianist makes it a tourist destination. The tower with a view is certainly a reminder of The Tower Of America’s in San Antonio, Texas, United States.

I feel this place is a tourist trap. It is very cool to take a look of the city from up there, and the concept of revolving restaurant is very cool and different. But food was no good. We got 4 appetizers which they were ok. And our main dishes were simply not good. Lacked flavor and presentation. I got the lobster and steak, steak was raw (even though I ordered it medium well) and lobster wasn’t fresh. Tasted like it was refrigerated for a long time and then thawed for cooking purposes. I would be back only maybe for drinks and appetizers, but food was 5/10. Service was not the greatest either. In general, cool concept , ok food.
