I recently visited Cachva, located in “El Pantalón” in Santa Fe, among several amazing dining options. We headed there for dinner on a Wednesday at around 8:30 PM, but unfortunately, we couldn’t try the Veal Milanese as it was sold out. I had to choose another dish from the menu.
The octopus we ordered was just okay—not particularly impressive. However, the Rib Eye Costra and Pork Belly Tacos quickly became our favorites with their great flavors and textures. We also tried the Pork Belly Canelones, and they packed a delightful taste punch. To end on a sweet note, the Torta Vasca for dessert was delicious.

Read moreThey were very nice to call to inform me that there has been a mistake on open table and my reservation at 7pm will need to be canceled since they close at 6pm for Christmas. They were however able to change my reservation to 5pm.
The restaurant itself is beautiful and the service was great. The food was nicely presented but the ribeye we ordered came out a little cold although cooked nicely. While the place may not be the cheapest place, it definitely makes up for it in the food. I had the burger, the meat just melted in my mouth and the bun was crisp but soft.
