Puerto Madero — Restaurant in Mexico City

Service was pretty slow at first but after we contacted the manager it significantly improved. The wine selection by the glass, although scarce, was pretty good, the Chardonnay was definitely a great choice. Loved the soufflé fries, very tasty. The cheese and ham & cheese with basil and tomato empanadas were ok. Chimichurri was good. I wanted to try the arrachera (skirt steak) as it is usually pretty bad in Mexico City restaurants and I was very surprised because it was super tasty and the temperature was perfect. Puerto Madero is an excellent place with high quality food and an elegant atmosphere. It’s pricey, but everything is delicious and well presented. I went for a business lunch with some foreign colleagues, and the service was exceptional. However, I noticed that other tables didn’t receive the same level of attention, which felt a bit elitist. Es un restaurante excelente. He tenido la oportunidad de haber ido algunas ocasiones a puerto madero en santa fe y todas las veces han sido excelentes. Al llegar te toman la temperatura y te dan gel de manos, pasas y puedes observar una recepción muy elegante con muy buena atención de los trabajadores. Te dan tu mesa , te toman la orden de forma rápida y la comida es exquisita. Recomiendo mucho pedir las papas soufflé, son de la casa , son papas infladas, también como entrada una empanada de pulpo, de carne o de bacalao , como plato fuerte puedes pedir pulpo , un corte de carne o una rica hamburguesa , todo está bien servido y la calidad de los alimentos es muy buena, por último como postre recomiendo la pavlova , el cheesecake o el alfajor.
