Pozolería Flor de Maíz — Restaurant in Mexico City

Obviously you dont come here for the atmosphere, its a pretty small and crowded space. However i had high expectations for the food. I got a pozole which is the main reason for coming here and it has no flavor, it was so disappointing. I also ordered sopes con pollo and i couldnt even eat them because the tortilla would come apart as soon as i picked it up. The chicken from the sopes was really tender and good. The sopes barely had any beans and soooo much chicken. The proportions were just so bad. The service was quick and good customer service but the food was a no. Much better places in the city to get...

Of course this is not a 5 stars place for elegance nor ambient, but for sure for flavor and home cooking style. You can get and feel the original home cooking style. You can inmerse yourself in a home made kitchen and feel the flavors with no so much innecesary over decorating topping but tasty and big well served portions.

Of course the traditional soup posole is the main dish but ask for anything else and for sure you'll gett a real experience full of flavors, served with care and cleanliness, yes cleanliness...

Pozole Excelente 👍, es la, segunda vez que como en ese lugar pedí el plato grande de surtida. Y te llenas porque te llenas, los precios son accesibles para casi todo tipo de bolsillo, en esta ocasión pasamos a ver si estaba en funcionamiento con esto del Covid-19 y en efecto están en funcionamiento, cuentas con las medidas preventivas para ello, están dentro de lo que el, Gobierno de la ciudad de México pide para la apertura de los, comercios. Me pedí un agua de a litro de Orchata, que esta riquísima 🤤. Yo soy de comer muchas tostadas, crema y aguacate. Lo que no te alcances a comer te lo dan para llevar (excelente opción para comer más tarde). Cuenta con estacionamiento más o menos grande, no se te ocurra ir en un auto por persona, aprovecha un vehículo y mete hasta 3 personas o una camioneta y de mínimo son 5 por unidad. Atención excelente, amable y rápida (en ocasiones). Te invito a probar la comida del lugar, tal vez tengas tu propia opinión sobre el sitio y la comida. Otra cosa más, la carta está, en código QR y si nos traes datos en tu celular, puedes solicitar al personal re digan el menú, pues no todos cuentan con un paquete de datos para poder usar la app QR, aunque estaría perfecto que el establecimiento contará con Wifi gratis y te entreguen la contraseña al...
