Restaurante Bencomo — Restaurant in Mexico City

We came here for my dad’s birthday. We were greeted by a good, welcoming service. The entrés are very good. I ordered a Chile en Nogada and can surely say that it is the best chile en Nogada I’ve tried. Not a lot of restaurants do Nogada out of walnuts anymore, however this place does it with walnuts. The Chile eb nogada was so good I forgot to take a picture of it ! 🤣😅The best thing was the extra walnuts in the chile. The quality of the food and the atmosphere is outstanding. For dessert, we ordered arroz con leche and it came in an awesome presentation. The staff is very kind and responsive . You need to visit...

So the place is fairly new and you can notice of course. Dishes running out early at 7pm, a little disorder with the waiters, hostess, etc. However, everything looks promising as the food tastes really really good. Tacos, rib eye, octopus, at least, I can sincerely say they were awesome. Special mention to the place itself, the decoration, which is really nice. And another excellent point is the complementary valet as there are not parking places nearby...

Me tomé el tiempo en esta reseña, porque creo que es un restaurante con mucho futuro y valen la pena los comentarios siguientes, para que sea un lugar con una experiencia única:

*Lo bueno: El lugar decorado de manera simple, pero con un excelente gusto, dividiendo el inmueble con diferentes tipos de arquitectura.

Un personal atento y servicial, entregando bebidas casi al momento, y manteniendo las mesas siempre limpias.

Un Tuétano con pulpo inmejorable

Una ubicación muy accesible, y servicio de valet ágil.

Lo rescatable: Un pollo con mole servido en un sartén de fierro, con un sabor delicioso, pero con una selección muy reducida de una pierna con muslo sobre cocida y entregando en partes de la pierna solo el hueso. (deberían presentar el mole con una mejor selección de corte de pierna con muslo, y en un sartén mas amplio para facilitar su corte)

El cerdo con mole negro, al igual que el pollo, con un delicioso mole negro, pero con una indebida selección de costilla de cerdo presentada sobre-cocida, de poco sabor y con poca textura.

*Lo malo: Una escasa selección de cerveza nacional comercial.

*Por lo que, a mi mas sincera opinión, es un restaurante que, si bien lo platillos son adecuados al precio, con poco esfuerzo podría ser de lo mejor que la Ciudad de México...
