My girlfriend & I were looking for a quality place for my birthday brunch. We found it into a food blog. We arrived there, we chose to be sat on the outside terrasse since there was great weather. We both chose the breakfast package which consist of a " coffee + juice + pastry of your choice + fruits plate + breakfast plate of your choice (my choice: mushroom omelette) ". Food was good & the service was excellent, many waiters. Couldn't complain at all. Prices were ok for the quality. The ambiance is great like a big mansion, feels like rich mexicans people coming here for breakfast. The indoor decoration is colorful & rich. If you guys are looking for a nice & fancy place for breakfast/brunch in Polanco or even in Mexico City, this is the place! 5/5 visited in December 2017

Among the best restaurants in Polanco, Mexico City. It lives up to the reputation, with available reservations, wonderful outdoor seating area and very attentive staff. Meal starts with bread and sauces try them all ,were delicious. Had chipotle meatballs, served with rice in sauce, fantastic flavor cooked to perfection. Had some spice but wasn't crazy and added wonderful complexity to the dish. For dessert, get carajillo. It's espresso with Liquor 43, on ice, it's refreshing and goes well with the silky chocolate dessert. Duo de chocolate, in the picture was amazing. It's two mousse on each other, a crumble in the bottom and an accompanying fruit syrup to cut the chocolate. Buen Provecho my friends!

I found the overall experience to be satisfactory, though not without its shortcomings. The food, while good, did not quite reach the heights of excellence. It seems that the kitchen is competent, yet there’s room for improvement in terms of flavor complexity and depth. On a positive note, the service was commendable; the staff was attentive and courteous, which added to the pleasant atmosphere of the meal. However, I was disappointed to find that my soup was served cold, a misstep that was unexpected given the otherwise warm hospitality. In conclusion, while the restaurant delivers a decent culinary experience, a few tweaks could elevate it from good to great. Mixiote de Cordero: 3/5

You walk in through the patio and are greeted by a friendly host who asks you whether you’d like to sit inside elegant decor with high ceilings or on the terrace looking over the green foliage. After a tough decision you’ll have to make a few more tough choices as the menu is a good variety of dishes for all. Enjoy the bread options with hummus and light Mexican sauces while the attentive servers wait on you. I recommend the mushroom soup and carpaccio wrapped asparagus. Dessert was a truffle cake that was delightfully rich. Followed by a nice espresso. Please enjoy yourself here. Prices are acceptable for the service.

Very good reason why this a busy, crowded restaurant frequented by many locals. Stirring indoor and outdoor decor. Bustling with service and specialized tastes, including a pasty tray that goes around after the coffee order. The mantecadas, or sweet corn muffins, are out of this world: a must try. The guac order comes with a melange of three delectable extra flavors for adding to the chip, and they’re unique and addicting. This is no American Tex-Mex joint, but a place to get regional dishes delivered at scale with attentive service and careful care. Come prepared to order in Spanish. Can’t wait to go back.
