Taco Express — Restaurant in Mexico City

At first sight, from the outside, this taqueria looked OK. They have a big trompo that caught my eye and I thought this must be a good taco place. But no, it definitely was not. Here are the reasons why. The tables and menu cards were not clean but dusty. OK, can happen. There were a lot of employees but most of them not doing anything. Bit strange but there not a lot of people, so maybe understandable. We ordered our tacos but there was a mistake in the order. No problem, can happen. The aguacate on my taco was rotten. The tortillas de harina were cold and hard. I ordered costilla but they brought chuleta. Then I asked for the bill and this was the most surprising. Híjole!!! Yo conocía taco express desde hace años!!! No eran nada malos!! Eran súper cumplidores. Tenian un sistema muy curioso en dónde en cada "estación" pedías y mandaban a la caja lo que pedías con cables por el techo y así te iban sumando a tu cuenta lo que pedían. Pero lo volví a visitar ayer, después de 1 año y ups!!!! Mala sopresa!!!! A algún genio se le ocurrió cambiar a un sistema de mesas y meseros. Y es un completo desastre!!! MAL! MAL!! Porque ahora los meseros te toman la orden y apuntan en mil papelitos la orden que mandan a cada estación lo cual tarda años, y después cada estación hace la orden y ya no saben quien pidió que y se vuelve un desmadre!!!!! Hace que el servicio sea lentiiiisimo!!! Y ay de ti si quieres pedír algo más!!!! Terrible mala experiencia de un lugar que funcionaba y realmente era EXPRESS! Ahora es la taquería más lenta y desastroza a nivel de servicio que he visitado.

Ahh y como cereza en el pastel. Antes podía pagar con tarjeta. Y ahora solo aceptan efectivo!!! Y lo anuncian con un pequeño letrerito en la caja que apenas se ve !!!! Otro punto terrible, porque no es problema de los clientes que no quieran pagar impuestos!!!

Todo mal!!! Reviste la taquería y fue la despedida! Lastima! Porque por el otro lado el suadero es muy bueno!!! De los mejores de la zona!!

Nada recomendable!!! Evitenlos a toda costa. Mejor a la vuelta sobre calz de Tlalpan pueden encontrar una taquería que se llama "Los dos Toros" que es mil veces mejor!!!
