Toks — Restaurant in Mexico City

Updated for 2022. Well, since my last visit things have changed. The food is still good but...... The servers could at least be polite, customers are not an inconvenience, they are precisely why you have a job. I actually felt like I was upsetting their day by even going inside! Also clean cups, saucers and cutlery would be nice. It seems like this place has given up. I do understand that it is a hateful job as I have done it myself, but understand what repeat custom is.

Old review...Great experience here. Its a lovely place to have something to eat, with outside seating too. The food is good and so is the service. The prices are ok, maybe a little on the expensive side but not by much. There is a parking bay below. It can be a little noisy outside but it is...

ANDRE......disque encargado o gerente, persona muy APATICA, no sabe lo que es atender a la gente ni sabe ser amable con sus clientes, de echo corre a la gente, le pesa mucho la TERRAZA, llegue un sábado anterior a las 6:20pm, cuando llegue más de 10 mesas vacías y la terraza con 2 mesas le dije que quería en la terraza y me dijo que estaba SATURADO.........¿Perdón? Si está vacío, le mencioné que quería terraza y me dijo que me iban a tardar, ????? Y yo dije entre mi quieres que me vaya, en lugar de recibirte amablemente, y no tiene modo para mandar a sus compañeros tiene más de 1 mes que lo veo ahí,este sábado que paso como nadie nos recibió nos fuimos a terraza pasado de las 6:30pm, fue y nos dijo que ya iban a cerrar la terraza que nos indicaba que nos pasáramos al comedor adentro, no sabía que la terraza tenía horario (solo ahí) en otros lugares como parque Delta y en insurgente NO TIENEN HORARIO, pésima persona , ¿Como es posible que una persona de 20 Años este encargada de un restaurante de este tipo, y hace FALTA personal solo 2 meseros atienden todo el restaurante y siempre están corriendo , pero aparte te traen tu servicio y en todo el tiempo que comes no se acercan ,tienes que pedir tu cuenta en la caja , siNO PUEDEN CON ESTE TOKS ¡CIERRE LO! Toks talked the talk but couldn't quite walk the walk. We ordered a variety of tacos including steak, chicken and pork. We also ordered queso fundido with chorizo. The highlight was the queso which was warm, delicious and had a strong flavor. While the tacos had strong presentation, their flavors left us disappointed. They were decent but overall rather bland. The chicken tacos had a crema sauce that left us wanting more, but not in a good way. You will get solid meals here but seek elsewhere if you want to be blown away by flavor.

Toks hablaba lo que hablaba, pero no podía seguir el camino. Pedimos una variedad de tacos que incluían bistec, pollo y cerdo. También pedimos queso fundido con chorizo. Lo más destacado fue el queso que estaba caliente, delicioso y tenía un sabor fuerte. Si bien los tacos tenían una presentación sólida, sus sabores nos decepcionaron. Eran decentes, pero en general bastante anodinos. Los tacos de pollo tenían una salsa de crema que nos dejó con ganas de más, pero no en el buen sentido. Aquí obtendrá comidas sólidas, pero busque en otro lugar si quiere dejarse llevar...
