The culinary vision of the chef is unmatched in this area (and in this price range). It's the perfect blend of creative originality and traditional touches. It's rare to see a place take so many chances and just hit a home run nearly every time. Carrot and habañero salsa on macaroni - sounds weird? It was amazing. Calabaza relleno paired with chicken stroganoff and horchata. Guess what? Also amazing. Deep fried corn full of hibiscus flowers? Yep, that was amazing too. I'm such a fan of the traditional food in this city (there is nowhere in the world quite like it) that I'm skeptical of fusion or anything experimental. However, this casual little restaurant is pushing the frontiers of an already fantastic cuisine. Eat here now. Let the chef decide what you eat. It's fun. It's new. And eventfully there will be a line...

I ordered green chilaquiles with scrambled eggs & an orange juice.

The chilaquiles weren't bad, but they NEEDED so much flavor! The eggs were dry. And I got fruit instead of my orange juice 😔. The waiter never remembered so I never got it.

Pésima atención, duramos casi dos horas esperando a que nos asignaran una mesa y JUSTO cuando se desocupa una, el mesero nos dice que no nos la puede dar porque la tenía reservada. “Reservada”. El chiste se contó solo, le dije que me parecía una falta de respeto que le asignara la mesa a una persona que acababa de llegar cuando la mesa no estaba reservada. Porque si tienen una mesa reservada “la reservan” la Sra llego espero a que se desocupara la mesa y se la asignaron así no más, el mesero ni una disculpa, ni una explicación ni nada. Solamente dijo que la mesa estaba apartada y ya. Qué pena! Teníamos muchas ganas de probar el desayuno de allí ya que cada vez que íbamos a desayunar a WAKE UP. Se nos antojaba ya que la comida se ve deliciosa y aunado a eso vivimos cerca. Pero definitivamente JAMÁS regresaría. Fuimos a wake up y la atención y comida 10/10 ojalá puedan mejorar el servicio y así los de la zona podamos comer...
