We only had a few hours in Patzcuaro and this restaurant came highly recommended, so we thought we would give it a shot.
The service was excellent, our server was friendly and attentive and checked on us throughout the meal.
Before we ordered we were given tortilla chips and a very fresh (and very spicy) pico de Gallo. It was excellent. We used to take getting chips and salsa for granted at Mexican restaurants in the States, but it is a rare treat here in Mexico.
I ordered the Arrachera steak. It was accompanied with guacamole, beans, a pepper stuffed with panela cheese, and grilled onions. The steak was cooked perfectly and all of the sides were excellent. My wife ordered the coconut shrimp. They were delicious and so huge my wife couldn't eat them all (a good deal for me). Her shrimp were served with a Mexican rice.
We hope to be able to spend more time in Patzcuaro and when we do, we will definitely go back...

It came with lots of sides, the traditional grilled baby onions, refried beans, a huge scoop of guacamole! Lots of Mexican art work decorating the restaurant and some is for sale. And the waiter was attentive. A...
