I was in a tour group and an included dinner was held at San Miguelito. What an incredible place! The entrance has two skeleton chairs. The table bases are cacti. There are angel wings where you can have your photo taken. Before the dining room is a store where you can purchase all types of Mexican wares including Catrinas. We sat in chairs with Mexican characters' etched on the back. Customer service was great. My dining mates had margaritas which had a sugar or ice skull sticking out of the drinks. The salad came with some sort of cheese crisp. It's delicious. I had tilapia with mashed potatoes and veggies. It was all good. For dessert we were served a delicious sort of corn pie. With a good valet service, kind staff and some of the best food in Morelia, it is no wonder that this restaurant has earned its prestige. Although the food is exceptional to say the least, one item stood out for me. The Sopa Tarasca is a classic staple of Michoacan and this place has definitely nailed it! The decorations on the wall definitely remind me of a Buca di Bebo, but their is nothing wrong with that as long as you can pull it pff well, which this place most certainly does. Weather you are a local or a tourist, this place is definitely...
