La Sandía Azul — Restaurant in Morelos

Our first time here at La Sandía Azul was truly an amazing experience. The restaurant itself is so inviting with its beautiful architecture and lush plants inside and out. The staff was very welcoming, and observed Covid protocols , wearing masks and providing hand sanitizer. There are also handicap ramps provided for the disabled. The service was impeccable and the food was simply divine in both appearance and taste. Our party of four all agreed that this is a restaurant that shouldn’t be missed by anyone planning to dine while visiting Tepotzlán. Kudos to the chef and staff for their outstanding service and culinary skills. We look forward to returning in the near future. El personal fue muy acogedor y observó los protocolos de Covid, usó máscaras y proporcionó desinfectante para manos. También hay rampas para minusválidos previstas para los discapacitados. El servicio fue impecable y la comida era simplemente divina tanto en apariencia como en sabor. Nuestro grupo de cuatro estuvo de acuerdo en que este es un restaurante que nadie debería perderse si planea cenar mientras visita Tepotzlán. Excellent place!!! If you go to Tepoztlán this is a must. The food is superb!!! Ask for Mustard Chicken breast (pechuga a la mostaza con berros) or filet mustard.

The reina xochitl is also a great dish.

This place was moved from Tepoztlán center, but if you come to tepoz you have to be here.
